Summer Vacation Bible School 2008

We had a blast and had the opportunity to express our gratitude for all of God's creation at our Roots and Shoots Vacation Bible School. We had a strong focus on Environmental Stewardship that is also part of Bethel's "Roots & Shoots" program.

August 4th - 8th  9am to 11:30am

We learned some of the Biblical teachings that emphasize good stewardship and sharing our resources with the rest of humanity.There was music, sign language, outdoor play and nature appreciation, and lots of arts and crafts with materials from nature. A highlight will be "Blessing of the Pets" on Friday.

Ages: 3 (potty-trained) through rising 5th graders. Light snack provided. There is no charge, but donations will be accepted. On Friday, parents should arrive at 11:00 to enjoy the songs the children have worked on all week.
